Hillsong Campus

Transformative spaces to celebrate

Scroll down

Hillsong Campus at Bella Vista offers the chance for communities to come together in celebration, learning and prayer on a huge scale. We helped them make the most of their space to unlock opportunity.

With its 3500 seat auditorium, Hillsong Convention Centre is one of Australia’s largest religious buildings. It’s the centrepiece of a campus that has gradually taken shape over the last twenty years over a period of staged construction. And as the needs of the community evolved over that time, so too have the plans.

Working closely with the project team, through advanced 3D modelling and careful reconfiguration, we’ve adapted the original concept to expand on the functionality of the space.

Along with the auditorium and connected spaces, our original work saw the creation of a 1275 space basement car park, and a chapel. With its curved white roof evoking a pair of hands cupped in prayer, natural l light and subtle colour palette, the chapel instantly creates a sense of calmness and contemplation, welcoming all kinds of small gatherings.

The latest extension to the project has been The Epicentre. A 500 seat auditorium, supported professional studios, sound engineering suite and a wide range of production facilities, it’s set to inspire and encourage a new generation of content creators to develop their skills.

The Hillsong campus enables a true diversity of shared experience. Through thoughtful design and flexible use, it engages people, inspires connection and creates belonging for a strong sense of community wellbeing.
