The past two years has profoundly changed the way everyone works, and it has been no different at NBRS. In the interest of supporting the wellbeing of our people, we have recently examined how to foster workplace flexibility, with the goal of striving to achieve a balance between fulfilled employees and managing our deliverables and outcomes.
It is with pride that we are introducing an industry leading initiative of implementing a 9 Day Fortnight which will begin in August 2022.
Creativity can’t be forced, so for us it is important to have time to think, refresh ourselves and let a project grow into our subconscious. A nine-day fortnight allows us to be more focused, efficient and productive during working hours.
We believe that giving our teams the time and space to foster their creativity, through improved balance, will provide positive outcomes for everyone involved – clients, industry partners and our people.
Our New Working Hours
From the 1st of August we will be working compressed hours over a 9 day period and closing our offices every second Friday in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. There will be little to no impact on your projects, as our hours worked remain the same, so we will continue to respect and achieve all deliverables.
The new hours of operation for all NBRS offices will be from 8.15am to 5.30pm for 9 days every fortnight. A calendar identifying the business closure days is shown below.
