Armidale Secondary College Wins Two LEA Awards

Oh what a night! NBRS was successful at the 2021 Learning Environments Australasia NSW Awards last night, taking home two awards for Armidale Secondary College.

NBRS was successful for both Architecture and Landscape, being named the Winner of Category 1: New Construction/New Educational Facility and Winner of Category 7: Landscape/Outdoor Learning Area.

Our highly collaborative design process has resulted in Armidale Secondary College being an inclusive, safe, and contemporary learning environment that engages with the Armidale environment and context. Its passive design, reuse of materials and repurposing an original building, help make it a project of high sustainability that will inspire belonging and nurture fresh ideas for generations to come.

Congratulations to all of the contributors from the NBRS Education, Landscape, Interior Design and Heritage teams for your tireless efforts in designing a wonderful example of a Life Changing Environment.
