I have an upcoming project

We'd love to hear about your vision, and talk about how we can help you bring it to life by uniting the skills of our teams.

We assemble project teams across the disciplines of Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture and Heritage, to create life-changing environments across Education, Community, Secure Spaces and Wellness spaces.

David Heap

Technical Lead, Sydney

“Every project requires a vision, but truly great Architecture is achieved through the details.”

David leads the Technical Team with the goal of improving the quality and efficiency of what we do as Architects. His team is part of the wider Design Portfolio, allowing a seamless process of design and delivery, with his role spanning the entire life of a project. This includes attending design reviews, workshops to determine deliverables and resolve detailing, post occupancy evaluations and lessons learnt feedback at the conclusion of a project. The reviews allow opportunities for technical aspects to be considered early in the design process and for their resolution to become an integral part of the design solution. He is also involved in the on-going process of simplifying standard project tasks to enable efficient project delivery and facilitating regular training sessions within the office.

With over 30 years working as an architect and experience across Australia, New Zealand and the UK, David has contributed to many successful projects of different typologies including schools and colleges, aged care facilities, residential developments, and commercial buildings.
