“The art of building is connecting people and their environment in the scale of architectural proportion.”
As a trained architect, interior designer and project manager, Hung-Ying has a comprehensive and holistic background. This varied skill set allows her to take on complex design briefs and develop them into inspiring and workable solutions, ultimately allowing her to achieve a seamless connection between interior design and the overarching architectural concept. Hung-Ying believes that effective interior design can create spaces that contribute to interior modalities and positively affect academic and work performance.
Her projects include Armidale Secondary College, Croydon Public School, the upgrade of Macquarie University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering Building, and Murray Art Museum Albury, where collaboration with council staff and the museum curator resulted in a state of the art cultural centre for the region.
Hung-Ying also has had extensive experience in commercial and healthcare projects prior to joining NBRS. Some of these projects include Network Ten Pyrmont Office, Sony Australia in North Ryde, David Nguyen Dental Glebe, and Northside Orthodontics Balgowlah.
