I have an upcoming project

We'd love to hear about your vision, and talk about how we can help you bring it to life by uniting the skills of our teams.

We assemble project teams across the disciplines of Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture and Heritage, to create life-changing environments across Education, Community, Secure Spaces and Wellness spaces.

Ian Gibson

Principal, Sector Lead - Wellness

“Architecture should help improve the psychological and physical health of the people that use it.”

Ian seeks to deliver person-centred, adaptable health and aged care environments with a commitment to research and a belief that every project requires a fresh approach. He brings leadership and expertise to the architectural team, having been involved in the development of health and wellness projects in both public and private sectors for many years across NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. He is also a passionate advocate for the role of high-quality design in providing spaces for healing and improved patient outcomes.

Ian has extensive experience in designing environments for mental health, demonstrating an understanding of various project requirements across acute, sub-acute, inpatient, day program, treatment and non-acute residential facilities. He is well placed to provide specialist guidance, understanding the technical and safety aspects of many health planning units, and providing facility design which can meaningfully contribute to patient recovery. Ian is skilled in design and documentation management, research, feasibility studies, design development, construction and contract management.
