Jonathan brings a wide breadth of experience and expertise to the practice including masterplanning, concept design, workshops and stakeholder engagement, as well as a detailed knowledge of software programs such as CAD.
Having joined NBRS in 1997, he has successfully delivered a number of complex educational facilities for clients such as The University of Sydney, NSW Department of Education, Queenwood School for Girls and PLC Sydney. Key to his approach is the development of creative partnerships with clients and teachers to ensure that design solutions positively affect academic performance.
By conducting research into future focused learning environments, Jonathan has gained extensive knowledge of how educational facilities can be adapted and designed to support contemporary pedagogies.
He is committed to creating human centred environments that not only promote active learning for their students, but provide value to the wider community. At their best, schools and universities can become community hubs for wider civic, educational and recreational purposes.
