Sophie is the Head of NBRS’ Interior Design discipline. Her commitment to Improving the quality of everyday life for Clients and end users guides her design thinking. By developing collaborative Relationships with the architects and Designers within our multi-disciplinary Practice, Sophie is able to achieve A seamless connection between Interior design and the overarching Architectural concept.
With over 24 years of professional expertise, Sophie has worked on a number of prominent public and private buildings, including hospitality, retail, educational facilities, commercial buildings and
residential projects.
Having worked throughout Australia as well as internationally in the UK, she has gained a breadth of project management experience. Sophie has a proven track record of delivering successful projects and is able to interpret complex briefs and develop them into bespoke designs confidently.
Sophie approaches every project with equal importance and is committed to working with clients in a collaborative manner through every phase of the design process. She has recently developed creative partnerships with PLC Sydney, the University of New South Wales on their Law Library and Student Hub, as well as with the Parliament of New South Wales on a range of thoughtful and considered upgrades.
She enjoys creating individually crafted responses for every project and believes that interior design can significantly improve the quality of life for end users. By thinking deeply about how interior spaces are used, she believes NBRS can creative innovative and life-changing environments.
