As the National Sector Lead of NBRS’ Community sector, Andrew seeks to create beautifully crafted architecture that enriches the lives of the people who occupy it. The Community team's expertise is underpinned by a commitment to research and a belief that every design should be contextualised by the unique characteristics of the site and client requirements.

Andrew is meticulous about problem solving and finding creative design outcomes that offer inspirational spaces for communities to come together. He brings a wealth of technical experience in the areas of design, specification writing, construction detailing and contract administration.

He has extensive on-site experience, and a proven track record of designing and delivering community buildings that promote societal improvement. By truly understanding the desires of key stakeholders, Andrew believes that NBRS can create dynamic spaces that are inviting and serve the community. This in turn can spark wider regeneration, activating areas into vibrant places for people to meet and gather.

“Architecture is the manipulation of space, material, form, colour & light, to house all matter of human enterprise. Truly great architecture has the capacity to inspire, uplift and transcend human experience.”
