A revitalised school for the students at St George Christian School, their new campus breathes life into their learning and social experience, creating a space for growth and endless opportunity.

Improvements to the existing St George Christian School Campus has helped open spaces up for flexible learning, improved teaching opportunities, better accessibility and whole of life use. Through a restructuring of the previous layout and addition of a new 4-storey classroom building, the school was designed to include new spaces such as science and art rooms, staff and student hubs, breakout spaces, and amenities.

A visionary school for contemporary, multi-modal learning; spaces were cleverly used to accommodate for a range of activities from classroom learning to outdoor play. Activated verandas with breakout spaces and the landscaped roof terraces provide breathable learning areas for small group breakout and staff. Indoors, incorporating elements of lightweight internal partitions, operable walls and shared central spaces provide adaptation to changing pedagogy and teaching styles.

Building on the student and teacher experience, improved navigation throughout the campus has aided the user journey, with clear formalized paths and circulation spines including accessible covered pathways throughout.
