NBRS Bay Pavilions Aquatic Leisure Centre has been nominated for a Sport, Recreation and Play Industry Innovation Award 2022 on the Sport & Leisure Facility Design Category.

The Bay Pavilions is a new Aquatic, Arts and Leisure Centre for Eurobodalla Shire Council located on the picturesque south coast of NSW. This iconic new gateway for the region was developed in partnership with Donovan Payne Architects and ADCO Constructions.

The project is a unique fusion of an Arts and Aquatic Leisure Centre in the one facility and was designed to allow the activities and events associated across the arts, leisure, health and recreation programmes to coalesce. It creates a vibrant, dynamic meeting place that invites a broad cross section of the community to engage and participate. Bay Pavilions represents an innovative example of how contemporary Aquatic centres can be integrated into a sustainable and holistic community facility.

The awards will be presented during the NSC Oration this coming Monday 11th July. We are very proud to be recognized for celebrating innovation that promotes and encourages people to play, recreate and participate in sport in a sustainable manner.
