Rejuvenation Of An Iconic Park

Ivanhoe Park is set to become a must visit destination for community enjoyment, celebrating its unique heritage, environment, sport and recreation. A well-maintained place of sanctuary, reflection and learning, in the heart of Manly.

Northen beaches Council engaged NBRS to develop a Masterplan to inform the upgrade, of Ivanhoe Park, a much-loved community asset and icon in the centre of Manly

Our Vision for the rejuvenation is to create a synergy of people, place and recreation. The park will become a place for visitors and the local community to return time and time again, enjoying a place of positive spirit, unique and diverse in its offerings with a sense of a strong local nature. As a sports venue, the Ivanhoe community will get to enjoy a football oval, and a new look futuristic grandstand.

An opportunity was presented to create a piece of Manly’s urban fabric that encourages connectivity, acts as a catalyst for urban sustainability and resilience while strengthening as a destination for both passive and active recreation.

The iconic Ivanhoe Park will become a social and recreational hub that will promote community engagement by providing flexible spaces for everyone.
